Northora is an accountancy practice working with businesses across Cranfield, Bedford and Milton Keynes. We handle accounts, tax, bookkeeping and payroll for limited companies, sole traders, landlords and employers, and we do it using cloud systems that keep your numbers current rather than a year out of date.
Most of our clients came to us because their previous accountant only got in touch twice a year, and both times it was to ask for paperwork or send an invoice. That is not how we work.
Why We Changed Our Name
Northora was S.L.E. Accounting. The name changed in [month, year] because the practice had outgrown it.
S.L.E. was built around one accountant. That worked, and it worked well for [number] years, but it put a ceiling on things. Clients could only ever speak to one person. Capacity was limited to one diary. And the name said nothing about the kind of practice it had become.
Northora is the same team, the same clients and the same standards, with room to grow. We have taken the chance to review our pricing, modernise our systems and build a practice that does not depend on any single person being available.
If you were an S.L.E. client, nothing about your service has changed. Same people, same numbers, same direct line. The letterhead looks different, that is all.
